Pai Mu Tan comes from Fujian province and grows at an altitude of approx. 1,500 m. The fine leaves are not rolled after harvest, but only lightly fermented and then immediately dried. Thanks to this procedure, the leaf tips retain their silver-white color, which is given to the second name “white”. A beautiful colored leaf with an amber-colored infusion.
